'Lampung' is a part of Jonathan Rachman x Patricia Nurchandra Designs trans-continental collaborative collection titled 'The Story Collection'.
'Lampung' is created out of Jonathan's love and nostalgia of the village he comes from in Sumatra, Indonesia. It introduces a plethora of cultural and natural elements that is unique to the island: from the Sumatran tigers and elephants; Krakatoa volcano; Pasir Putih beach; corals; coffee plants; to ethnic patterns and motifs of the province's traditional textiles, Tapis; as well as the beautiful Lampung headdress. These elements create a synergy of an exotic yet playful scene in the design.
