'Bali' collides and translates arts, culture and nostalgia into an enchanting scene that transforms a space into a tropical or exotic gateway.
Jean Le Mayeur's paintings of his muse, Ni Pollok, inspired Jonathan to create the Balinese women in the design. They are depicted carrying food offering over their heads donning a Batik sarong - two elements that are deeply ingrained in the Balinese culture. The sarong displays a geometric Indonesian Batik motifs with distinctive floral pattern often seen worn by Balinese dancers.
He also drew inspiration from his parents' love for each other, and created the matrimonial monkeys.
